This week 3-4 W will host our Mass and the celebration will be around Mothers and special women in our lives! We hope that many of our families will join us - 9am in the church.

A Morning Tea will follow - please bring a plate. All ingredients listed . No nuts, food cooked in nut oil or fresh cream!!

Confirmation Information and enrolment

Please note that the candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation must attend an information session with their parent next Tuesday 13th May at either 10am or 7pm.

If you are taking your child to the 10am session please  come to the office and sign your child out and then you must sign your child back into school.

This information session will take place in the Church.

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated on Sunday 17th August.

Please note that whilst the organisation of the Sacrament is Parish based, the students will also have lesson preparation at school.

Social and Emotional Support

If you have any concerns for your child the first course of action is to speak with your child's teacher.  If there has been a issue with another child that is of concern, please bring this to the attention of the class teacher at the time of the issue so we can assist.  Of course as you are all aware, do not approach or speak with any other child.

As you are also very aware, we have a Positive Behavior for Learning Program and we are part of the Resilience Program.

The school has a Student Wellbeing Leader.(Jenny Willmott).  We have various clubs to support wellbeing and use outside agencies where appropriate. The school  has a Learning Diversity Leader, (Jonathan Rooney) and a school counsellor 1 day a week (Jeff Emond).

As you all know, I am also available to support students and families.

Our school is and will continue to be proactive in support of our students emotional and social wellbeing.

Prayer for the election of the New Pope...

O God, who in your wondrous love watches over your Church,

fill the cardinal-electors with your Holy Spirit to strengthen and inspire them as they choose a new Pope to lead us.

May they choose a shepherd for your Church who will please you in his holiness and guide his flock with love and watchful care, especially for the sick, the poor and the vulnerable.

We pray that your Holy Spirit may be with the one who is chosen to strengthen him to be a messenger of love, peace, and unity in our world.

We offer our prayer through our Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Amen
