Caring Learning Growing: Every Child Every Day
Dear Families,
This is my first opportunity to say it's great to be back at school. While I had an amazing time away, it is always wonderful to come home. A big part of my home is our school, I certainly missed everyone.
I want to thank Lisa Glatz and all the staff for taking such wonderful care of everything while I was away. We have an amazing staff.
It was an incredible day at our Mother's Day liturgy and lunch. Seeing all those beautiful photos of our children with all the mums, grandmothers, and special people in their lives brought tears to my eyes. Our children are surrounded by so much love. Thank you so much to Ally for organising our liturgy.
Congratulations and well done to our cross country runners, Indi, Eadie, Eden, Gracie, and Ruby. From all reports they represented our school so well, showing determination and great sportsmanship. Well done to Eadie, Gracie and Eden who have progressed to the next level.
Our Senior girls also spent an afternoon playing football. I love that they get out there and have a go and, most of all, support each other and other teams. I say it time and time again, we have the best kids.
Thank you to families for supporting our school closure day on Wednesday. Our staff worked with several other schools within the diocese to unpack the DOBCEL strategy for the next 10 years. Professional learning for our staff is crucial, and we value these opportunities.
Our building project continues to move along and next week I will release some dates and times to chat to families about this. I am excited about what the future holds for our school.
Have a wonderful weekend and hopefully, at some stage, we will see some rain.
Take care and God Bless
Louise
