Principal Address

Dear Families,
Dear Families,
I trust you had a safe and enjoyable holiday, it was a pleasure to have all of our students back this week and the playground full of fun and laughter, and our classrooms full of learning.
Election
As a school, we are praying for the upcoming Election tomorrow, we are praying for our country that whoever gets elected into power leads our country into a bright and prosperous future and protects the rights of Christian Schools in the process. There are two macro issues that we need to continue to pray for.
- Current funding levels for Christian Schools remain in place so that we can continue to offer a quality Education to our families and keep school fees as low as possible.
- Freedom for Christian schools to be able to hire staff which align to our values and protections that allow us to continue to operate.
Winter Uniform
A reminder our full winter changeover takes place on Monday! Please ensure your children are dressed appropriately and in full uniform.
Band Program
A reminder to our concert band members that practice is beginning before school at 8.15am, in the Church from Monday. I’ve been so impressed with how hard they have been working and the amazing sounds they are already producing!
Congratulations
I wanted to congratulate the school leaders and Hudson (Year 5) who led our Anzac Day service so beautifully. I especially wanted to congratulate Hudson for his beautiful and moving tribute to his Great grandfather, it was exceptional.
Mothers Day Stall (Thursday 8 May) and Chapel (Friday 9 May)
Our Mother’s Day Stall will be held next Thursday, with our Mother’s Day Chapel taking place on Friday. We understand that this occasion can be difficult for some students. If you feel this may be the case for your child, please reach out to their teacher so we can provide the appropriate support. Further information about the stall—including gift prices and the class visit schedule—will be sent home shortly. A big thank you to Mrs Melanie Coorey for organising this event.
My door is always open,
Joe Britton
