Congratulations to Hannah Saunders

Congratulations to Hannah Saunders, one of two Sunraysia students who will walk the historic Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guin later this year.  Hannah is a recipient of the newly establish Farnsworth Lochhead Lowe Scholarship.  This scholarship is sponsored by the Mildura RSL Sub-Branch and honours three local soldiers Private Raymond Farnsworth, Warrant Officer John Lochhead and Lance Corporal Edward Lowe, who were killed during the Kokoda campaign in 1942.

This scholarship provides an incredible opportunity for our young people to connect with our history, honour the legacy or our veterans and grow as future leaders.
