Clean Up Australia Day - March 1

The Early Years Learning Framework (v2) principle of SUSTAINABILITY requires us to think about the future of our world and act to create healthy, just and vibrant futures for all (p. 18).  At Curiosity, we recognise that children have a deep interest in care about the environment and hold the capacity to advocate for positive change in the way that we consume, use and discard of the world's resources.

As part of our commitments to promote sustainable practices and care of Country, each year we participate in Clean Up Australia Day and take to cleaning up Deborah Grove.

This year the event will take place on Friday, March 1 from 9:30 - 10:30am.  We invite all families to participate in this event at some level, whether that be joining us on the day or doing your own clean up within your local area.  We will create a Storypark post where families can share their photos with the community if they choose to participate in this way.

If your child does not normally attend on this day, you are welcome to join us and they can participate under your supervision.

Gloves and bags will be provided to collect the rubbish that we might find.

We hope you can join
