APS Chess Club 

Alphington Primary School Chess Club will commence at lunch time (after lunch eating) on Wednesday 7 February in Room 18 (level 2 of Learning Centre). Chess Club will continue to run weekly, alternating between Wednesdays and Thursdays (schedule below). Term 1 Chess Club will provide the opportunity for students who 

know how to play chess to participate in friendly matches against other APS students. Mini-lessons will also be available for students to improve their chess skills and strategies. 

Please note that Term 2 Chess Club will provide the opportunity for students new to chess to learn the basics of the game. 

We look forward to another exciting year of APS Chess Club as we continue to build upon the success of 2023!
