Level 1 & 2 Wonga Weekly

🌈 WE'RE BACK!

We have been very excited to welcome all our Grade One and Two students and families into our classrooms during this past week!  The students have been very busy getting to know each other and building our class communities. 

🌻 WONGA WEEKLY

The Wonga Weekly is an important tool we use to communicate information about our learning to families.  You will find what our students will be getting up to each week, along with any announcements or important dates to note down. 

✏️WEEK TWO LEARNING

During Week Two, we will continue to build our learning community; develop connections with others, settle into new routines and learn about what makes our classroom a happy and collaborative space for learning.

📘TAKE HOME READING

This week we will be sending your child home with their take home book pocket, so they can get back into the routine of reading at home. In the book pocket you will find a levelled book to read, a new yellow reading log and a note explaining this program (see attached).

☀️ REMINDERS

Thanks to the many families that have already brought in tissues and wipes, we greatly appreciate your contribution of these items to our classrooms.

Please also send your child's library bag and art smock to school.

Please ensure your child has a school hat available to wear while at school. School hats are to be worn outdoors during school hours.
