Wangaratta Art Gallery Award 

The Wangaratta Art Gallery's Friends of the Gallery organization sponsor a Friends’ Student Art Award at the end of each year for Year 12 Visual Arts/Media students.

In 2023 the recipient of that award was Layla Ramsey, one of Wangaratta High School's Alumni from the graduating class of 2023.

Both Mr Shane Castricum and Ms Sam Caddey attended to witness Layla receive her award and prize of $1000 for her artistic achievements.

Self Directed Learning Success 

Recently our Year 11 students had the chance to attend their first self directed learning (SDL) session for year. In these sessions students can decide what to direct their time to including revision, catching-up on classwork etc. 

Well done to our Year 11's for starting the year off positively.
