This week, our Year 1 and 2 students have been exploring the exciting world of division! 💡 Using a range of hands-on tools and strategies, they learned how to share equally and understand division in different ways. Students used division boards, pictures, repeated addition, arrays, and number sentences to solve problems and show their thinking 🧠📊.
Everyone worked with great focus and enthusiasm, building confidence and discovering that division can be fun when you can see it, draw it, and do it! 🎯👏

This week, Year 1 students have been learning all about pollution and how it affects our animals and the environment 🐢🐦🐠. Working together in teams, students brainstormed ideas and created eye-catching posters to show the impact of pollution and share important messages about how we can help stop it 💧♻️.
They showed fantastic teamwork, creativity, and care as they combined drawings, facts, and powerful slogans to raise awareness 🌈🖍️. From picking up rubbish to recycling our young environmental heroes did an amazing job inspiring others to take care of our planet! 💚✨

Last term, our Year 2 students enthusiastically participated in the school swim scheme. Over the course of 5 daily lessons, students built water confidence, learned vital swimming techniques, and practiced essential water safety skills. Everyone enjoyed working together, improving their abilities, and gaining greater independence in the water. Every child demonstrated growth, with each student improving in their own unique way and achieving personal milestones in the pool. Their enthusiasm and progress were a wonderful reflection of the program’s supportive approach.
