PRINCIPAL'S REPORT
Tuesday 28th October 2025
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Welcome back to the final term of 2025. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly a year goes by. Term 4 is shaping up to be another busy term. Please ensure you are checking Sentral regularly and reading our newsletters carefully. Already we are talking about Presentation Days, next year’s staffing, Kindergarten Orientation, Year 6 Farewell and all the other usual end of year things.
This week, students will have brought home a note with a cut off slip. Please return this as a matter of priority if you are not returning in 2026 or will be returning, but not at the start of Term 1. This slip is important to help us plan classes for your children for 2026. Students who do not return at the start of next year and we have not heard what the plans are for them are at risk of losing their place at GVPS and this also places our staffing numbers at risk.
We had another lovely morning celebrating the amazing GVPS grandparents this week. Thank you to all the grandparents who shared breakfast and a story with their grand children.

This Friday is World Teachers Day. This is an opportunity to recognise the phenomenal teachers we have here at Green Valley PS. They are an outstanding group of educators.

I'd like to acknowledge the hard-work of our P&C. The family bingo night was a great success and they are holding a fancy-dress disco this Friday. Thank you for all you do for GVPS.
