Next week is planning week, so please remember that all specialists will be on one day.
We would also like to remind students and families that as we go into the warmer months, it is important to bring a drink bottle, and hats must be worn outside.
Some other important dates to be mindful of coming up before the end of the Term 4 are:
| Tuesday 9th December | Meet the Teacher for 2026 |
| Thursday 18th December | Last Day of Term 4: Dismissal at 1.30 pm Whole School Assembly |
| Friday 19th December | CURRICULUM DAY – No students at school |
Portfolios will be going home on Monday to showcase all the hard work our students have produced this term. Please take the time to look through the samples and celebrate your child’s achievements. Portfolios do not need to be returned to school.
This term, we have revisited the concept of sharing (division) by posing open-ended questions. Our students were given a scenario in which they had to show all the different ways they could evenly share their counters. The examples below show students helping their teacher to evenly share 12 and/or 24 pizzas onto trays.

We have been continuing our narrative writing, including our weekly suitcase provocation. Our most recent 'minibeasts' suitcase small world resulted in very creative and detailed stories. We are so proud of the progress our students have continued to make in their writing this term!
Our P-2 students had a lot of fun completing their two-week swimming program recently. We are very proud to say that they represented Pascoe Vale North Primary's school values while in the community by showing respect to the staff and other swimmers, responsibility by taking care of themselves and their belongings, and persistence in learning new skills at the pool.
