Principal Report
Mrs Deborah Crane
It is that time of the year that we must say farewell to some staff leaving our school for other endeavours and some leaving for a short time.
Ms Jones has already left on parental leave awaiting the birth of her first child. Mr Phypers has now returned to the classroom to cover 3/4E until the end of the year.
Ms Barmby will also be leaving today to await the birth of her first child in December . Ms Zaverella for an week and then Mr James Gagliardi will return to cover the 5/6A class until the last day of this year.
We are saying goodbye to Barb, who has been an Educations Support Staff member here for the past 12 years. Barb is a wonderful asset to our school and has assisted many students within the classroom and their teachers. Barb is retiring with the intentions of having more time for her family but also for travelling!
James Gagliardi will also not be returning in 2026 as he has successfully been appointed a new teaching position at Overnewton College. We wish Mr Gagliardi our best wishes.
Ms Emily will also be leaving us for 12 months to explore further opportunities in teaching at a Catholic School. We wish Ms Emily only the very best for 2026.
Ms Cat will also be leaving us in 2026 as she has successfully picked up another position at Gladstone Views Primary School. Cheers Cat and thanks for this year!
Kim Hough will also be leaving us at the end of this year. Mrs Hough has been with us for the past two years overseeing our Program for Students with Disabilities and this year our Disabilities Inclusion funding application process. Thank you so much Kim for all the support you have given me, but also to our stduents, their families and the staff.
As we say goodbye to staff we also say hello and we know that PVNPS will welcome all our new staff with opne arm and will make then feel supported and valued as they join our team.
