From Our Year One & Two Classrooms

Year 1 

This term in year one, students are learning about narratives. We had a chance to go to the library and explore lots of different narrative texts. Inside the classroom students have been looking at the different features of narrative texts including characters and settin.

 In maths, students have been looking at place value. We have been looking at the importance of the tens and ones column and what it means when a number is in each column. We have also been practicing ordering numbers from 0-100. Look at all these hundred chart puzzles we completed!
