Be a Each week we love to celebrate any students who may have achieved something significant during the past week; sporting events, dancing, baptisms, theatre, music achievements, new babies etc. both inside school and outside school.

Tennis Tournament Success

Congratulations to Myles who played in three tennis tournaments over the school holidays with some outstanding results. Myles was awarded the Rafa Under 14s Values Award for his outstanding humility, resilience, commitment and sportsmanship. This means he will now represent Tasmania and compete in Melbourne in January. The top players from the January competition qualify for 2 weeks at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Spain.

 

In the Hobart Open Myles won the Boys Doubles with his partner Lachie and in the Burnie Open he also won the Boys Doubles with his partner Wilfred.

National Schools Futsal Championships

Congratulations to Ned (Year 8) and Stanton ( Year 7) who represented Tasmania in the National Schools Futsal Championships in Brisbane over the school holidays.

 

National Speedcubing Competition

Banjo (Year 6) competed in the National Speedcubing Competion in Brisbane over the school holidays, receiving personal records in each event he competed in.
