Principal's Report

Dear Families,

Welcome to Term 4! It’s shaping up to be a busy and exciting term, beginning with our Whole School Excursion to Echuca this Friday. Buses will depart at 8.30am, so students will need to arrive at school by 8.15am. With a tour of the Port of Echuca, a trip on a paddle steamer, and a visit to TwistEd Science, it’s sure to be a fantastic day for everyone.

BOOK FAIR

Next week, we’ll be holding our annual Scholastic Book Fair. The books will be displayed in the Tutor Learning Room and available for purchase from 8.30am – 9.00am in the morning and 3.15pm – 3.45pm in the afternoon. Students always enjoy the chance to browse and choose their own books. Eftpos facilities will be available.

SWIMMING

School Swimming Program for all grades will commence next week. Students will participate in a 45-minute swimming lesson each day of this week at Aquamoves. If students are not participating, they will be allocated to another classroom whilst their class is at Aquamoves.

LONG SERVICE LEAVE

I will be on leave for the next two weeks. Filippa will be Acting Principal during this time, and Maria Serra will be taking her place in the classroom.

PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE DAY & CURRICULUM DAY

Please note the following important dates:

• Monday 3rd November – Professional Practice Day (no school for students)
• Tuesday 4th November – Melbourne Cup Public Holiday
• Monday 1st December – Curriculum Day for report writing (no school for students)

BUS TRAVEL

Just a reminder that if students are travelling on a bus and they normally don't or they are travelling on a different bus to normal, we require a note, phonecall or a XUNO message so that we can inform the bus drivers about the different travellers on their bus service.
