Junior School Principal Report
Nicholas Mammoliti

At Norwood Secondary College, we are committed to teaching students how to use digital technology safely, respectfully, and responsibly. Through clear expectations, age-appropriate education, and strong supervision, we guide students in developing positive digital behaviours and managing online risks.
Students are expected to protect personal information, be kind and respectful online, follow school rules, and seek help when needed.
We are finding more students coming to school with VPN's installed. A VPN is quite a serious breach of our ICT policy as it does bypass our school filters. Families are encouraged to speak with their children about this to ensure that they are abiding by the digital agreement they signed. If you have any questions feel free to get in contact with your childs coordinator or head of year level.

Late last term and all of this term the Year 9's will be heading off to either Warrandyte Gardens or Chirnside Views. It's been great to share the supervision duties with a number of staff this year. All the staff have been commenting on the amazing positive impact our students are having at both locations.

The transition visits have started with some great help from Year 7 students. These students are providing a great sounding board for the incoming cohort and provide an opportunity for them to go back to their old primary schools.
