Water Week

Â
Next week all classes will be celebrating Water Week! Students will take part in fun and engaging activities that explore the importance of water, how we use it every day, and ways we can help protect this precious resource.
Â
Here are some easy water-saving tips for you and your family to try at home:Â
đ§ Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth.Â
đ§ Take shorter showers.Â
đ§ Collect rainwater to water your garden.Â
đ§ Use a bucket instead of a hose when washing the car.Â
đ§ Check for dripping taps and get them fixed.
Together, we can make a big difference by using water wisely!

Weâre planning to create a beautiful garden tunnel near the sandpit using Reo mesh for climbing plants. If anyone in our community has access to Reo mesh (up to 1.1m wide and 5â6.5m long), weâd love to hear from you!
Â
Weâre hoping to source 1â3 pieces to arch across the area and bring this idea to life. Future plans include adding a dwarf deciduous tree and hardy flowering plants to complete the space.

If you can help or know someone who can, please contact Jo Earle at the school.
