Someone Else's Shoes

As part of our integrated unit 'Someone Else's Shoes', Grade 3/4 students and their families very generously donated food for a non-profit organisation 'Soul Plus Food'. This organisation operates out of Wendouree and provides necessary food and sanitary items to over 80 families every week. On Monday 14th August, two volunteers came down from 'Soul Plus Food' to collect the donations that we had collected over the course of last week. They were beyond grateful for our generous donations and the thoughtfulness of our Buninyong community. A big shoutout to the Coles Peel Street store, who very generously donated $100 to our Food Drive. On Sunday, Miss Moran used this to buy a trolley full of items to go towards the donation. We want to say a very big thank you to every family who was able to donate to this amazing cause!
