Principal's/Captain's Report
Dear St. Brigid's School Community,
I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits as we approach the final stretch of our academic journey here at St. Brigid's. As we, the Year 12 students, prepare to embark on our VCE final exams, I want to take a moment to share some important thoughts and reflections on our experiences as St. Brigid's graduates.
First and foremost, it's vital to acknowledge that time is swiftly running out for us VCE students. Our final exams are just around the corner, and the pressure is mounting. These upcoming school holidays are absolutely essential for our preparation. During this time, we have the opportunity to engage in intensive revision, practice exams, and attend crucial revision lectures. So, let's make the most of this time to be as prepared as possible for the challenges that lie ahead.
In the past fortnight, our school's sporting teams have continued to excel, and I am incredibly proud of our athletes. Our commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship have shone brightly in various competitions. From the netball court state finals to the Black Ranges basketball court, our students have demonstrated their dedication and skill, earning respect not only from rival schools but from the wider Horsham community as well.
These achievements reflect the values of determination and teamwork that are ingrained in St. Brigid's students. Let's continue to support and celebrate the achievements of our sporting teams, as they inspire us all to strive for excellence in everything we do.
As St. Brigid's students, we are fortunate to be part of a vibrant and supportive community. The Horsham community has long held St. Brigid's graduates in high regard. They see us as resilient, empathetic, and well-rounded individuals who have not only excelled academically but have also contributed positively to the community.
Being a St. Brigid's graduate means more than just receiving a certificate; it means embodying the values of integrity, compassion, and perseverance that our school has instilled in us. It means striving for excellence not only in our academic pursuits but also in our character and interactions with others. The respect and admiration of the Horsham community remind us of the responsibility we carry as representatives of our school and the importance of leaving a lasting positive impact on the world around us.
As we approach the final leg of our journey at St. Brigid's, I urge all students to continue striving for excellence, both in their studies and in their personal growth. Let our commitment to hard work, determination, and kindness be the legacy we leave behind.
In these critical moments leading up to our exams, my call to action is clear: make the most of these holidays to prepare diligently and stay focused. Seek help when needed, support your fellow students, and believe in your ability to succeed. Remember that you are not alone in this journey, and together, we can overcome any challenge that comes our way.
As St. Brigid's students, we have the power to shape our future and make a positive impact on our community and the world beyond. Let's carry the St. Brigid's legacy with pride and determination, knowing that we have the skills, knowledge, and character to make a difference.
Wishing you all a productive and restful holiday break, and may we return with renewed energy and determination to conquer our final exams.
