From the office

Beleza Store Hours

Please note below, change of store hours for Beleza for the remainder of Term 3:

Spoons

If your child requires a spoon for yoghurt or soup, can you please make sure they have one in their lunchbox. We are not allowed to supply single use plastic spoons from the office.

Lost Property

We have a large amount of lost property at the school. If your child is missing a jumper/jacket or any other item of clothing, the lost property tubs and hangers are located in the main building near the toilets.  There is also a tub in the OSHC area in the JCB. Please remember to label your child's clothing, and if you have a preloved item, remove the other name(s) on the clothes and replace it with your child's.

Spare clothing

Please pack some spare clothing for your child/ren. With the wetter weather upon us, many children are coming to the sickbay at recess and lunch wet or muddy. We have a limited amount of clothing in sick bay and cannot always give children spare clothing. If you child is excessively wet and muddy you will be contacted and asked to bring in a change of clothes.

Staff Carpark

The off-street carparking along the front of the school on Smith Street is for staff parking. We ask that parents do not park in these spots, as if these car parking spots are full staff need to park on the street all day. There is the drop off zone and parking along Carrington Street or further along Smith Street.

Late arrivals at school

If your child arrives late at school (any time after 9:00am) you need to sign them in at the office. The classroom teachers mark the roll at 9:00am and if your child is late to class the teacher does not always have time to mark them as present. We thank you for your co-operation.

Classroom Opening Times

Please be reminded that the classrooms do not open until 8.50am.

Please ensure that your child is supervised prior to this time, as the yard is not supervised until 8.45am. If you require care prior to this time, we do offer Before School Care.

Working With Children Checks / VITs

Would all parents please ensure their WWCC is current prior to nominating to help with activities during camps.  It is a legal requirement for those assisting with child activities to hold a current WWCC (either volunteer or employee) OR a current VIT card (for teachers).

WWCC applications are free for volunteers and can be obtained online at https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/.
