Twenty-four Boorowa Central School Student Representative Council members (Years 7-12) are attending the Hilltops Youth Action Group (HYAG) Forum in Young on Friday 15 September 2023. 

The Youth Action Forum will assist the Hilltops community in providing healthy spaces, places, programs, and infrastructure for youth. Students will be engaged in discussions to identify priority areas and ways to develop a whole community approach to improve outcomes for young people living, working, and learning within the Hilltops area, so that young people can live happy, healthy lives and maintain their connections to the community. 

This discussion is needed to inform local community organisations about the challenges and advantages they face as young people growing up in the Hilltops LGA.

Our students can brainstorm and discuss with local high schools in the Hilltops region including Young High School, Murrumburrah High School, and Hennessy Catholic College.

The students are looking forward to attending this day and will provide details of the event in the upcoming newsletter.
