10th Birthday Celebration

Middle School Modular building was opened and occupied by students.

The window in the kitchen it looks like a house and the window in the library  represents an open book - just a subtle design feature by the architect.

Covid was still a constant in the background as the masks indicate

This was the start of the $10M Capital Works Program.  After selecting the Architects the school worked with them to develop a long term Master Plan which was approve by School Council and the VSBA.  A section of the Master Plan was selected for detail design. 

As post COVID costs kept rising the size and features of the design were significantly trimmed back until after tenders were receive another section of the plan had to erased.

The ground breaking ceremony  in October marked the start of the 12 month Building contract.
