Honour Roll Nominations

The Honour Roll is a record kept by the Board, of individuals who have made a significant contribution to Devonport Christian School or are deserving of recognition by the school community.  In addition, members of the Honour Roll, who have the Pastoral Reference section of this form signed by a current pastor, will be afforded lifetime membership of the Devonport Christian School Inc.

Nominations for the Honour Roll can be made to the Board Secretary by any member of the school community, including Board and committee members, management and general staff, parents and friends, past and present students, and, members of the Devonport Christian School Inc.

Honour Roll nominees must have made a significant contribution to Devonport Christian School or are deserving of recognition by the school community and meet one or more of the criteria as described on the Honour Roll nomination form.

Nomination forms are available from the school office and must be submitted in writing to the Board Secretary by Thursday 28th September. Completed Nomination forms can be left at the school office.

Soccer Tops

Now that the 2023 winter soccer season has concluded, please return all DCS soccer tops to the school office by Monday 4th September.

School Student Broadband Initiative

Students who do not have access to the internet at home may be eligible for a program called School Student Broadband Initiative (SSBI) through our local MP, Mr Gavin Pearce.  This program allows families 12 months free NBN access.

To be eligible, families must meet the following criteria:

• Be enrolled in an Australian school in 2023
• Not have an active NBN network internet service at home (having a mobile internet service does not affect eligibility)
• Be referred by a nominating organisation
• Live in premises that can access the NBN network

Covid RAT Test Kits

The winter cold and flu season is well and truly upon us. If someone in your family is unwell and you would like to do a COVID RAT test, we have tests available from the school office. 

Just drop in or contact the office on admin@dcs.tas.edu.au and we can send some tests home with your child/ren.

Early Learning

At DCS we offer two fun and friendly Early Learning programmes.  Come along and connect with others over a delicious hot drink while your children play. Call the school office on 6423 1373 if you require further information.

Little Sprouts

Little Sprouts is a hands-on nature based playgroup for children aged 3 and 4 years and is held every Thursday from 8:45am - 10:30am.

Jiloa Juniors

Jiloa Juniors is held every Friday from 8:45am - 10:45am and is for children from birth to 5 years with their carers.
