District Athletics 

On Friday 18th of August, a select number of students from years 3 to 6 traveled to Newport Athletics Track to participate in the District Athletics Carnival. The students qualified for a variety of track and field events; 100m, 200m, hurdles, 800m, 4 x 100m Relay, high jump, triple jump, long jump, discus and shot put. 

In challenging conditions all of the students gave it their best and we can be proud of how they represented the school and themselves. Overall it was a successful day and we had 13 of the 42 students qualify to the Hobsons Bay Division Carnival. 

Division Athletics

On Wednesday 6th of September, 12 students traveled to Newport Athletics Track again to compete in the next round of Athletics. 

In Triple Jump we had Kara, Divyam and Jay, in shot put we had Ojus and Ciara, in high jump we had Ojus, Aewin, Alicia, Marley, Aluel and Immanuel, in discus we had Alicia, in 100 and 200m we had Sofia, in the 1500m we had Marley and Ella and Ella also competed in the 800m. 

All the students did their best and gave it a go. They all enjoyed the experience and I am sure many will be back again next year.
