Gotta love the month of August! Author visit, Book Fair, Shortlisted Books, Book Week, Class Books written by the students, Reading Challenge and a Dress Up day! 

The recent Book Fair was a huge success, making a total $8,205 of which gives Kingswood $774 in cash plus $1,300 to spend on Scholastic Book Club. A fantastic result which will be shared with all the year levels, so they can buy books for their classrooms. 

Of course, this could never have been achieved without the help from our parent volunteers. A big thank you to all of you:

I am extending an invitation to all families to pop into the library to see the books that have been written by the grades. Each student has written one page of their class book, and these books will be on display in the library. Please feel free to come take a look at them. before and after school would be the best times, but if you are passing by and the library is quiet, please just come in.
