Future Thinkers Program

Future thinkers

Last Tuesday, a select group of year 9 and 10 students, took part in the ABCN Future Thinkers program. The program’s focus was to build problem-solving skills with design thinking, a process used in businesses to find a solution to a problem. Students were lucky enough to be involved in a range of activities that guided their thinking, while being mentored by professionals from IP Australia. The organisers and mentors had nothing but positive feedback for our students, including how intelligent and bright they were.

“This program was about thinking outside the box and creating new ideas to help the school with certain issues like making students come to school more often. I learnt how to think more productively and put myself in the other person's shoes when solving their problems. I enjoyed meeting the mentors, finding a new way of thinking and working in a group to solve these problems.” Zayd and Omar M, 9B.
