Year 7 excursion

News from Ms Afif, Year 7 coordinator:

The Year7’s have had a lovely Term 3 with many students been recognized for their great achievements and commitment to their learning. Every fortnightly assembly we recognize students who have lived out our school values. The following students received awards this Term Hunter Olney, Fatima Bukhari, Slvana Al Mnoo and Nour Ali. We congratulate these students for their continued commitment to their learning and for the great respect they show others. 

The Year 7’s had the opportunity to go on an indoor rock-climbing excursion. The purpose of the excursion was to support students in fostering positive relationships and to further develop their team building skills. It was great to see students challenge themselves and support others in being their best. Mohammed Kaddour and Bilal El-Kheir were able to reach the highest points. They were very brave! Looking forward to more excursions with Year 7’s this year. 

As we approach the end of term we will be celebrating and acknowledging students that shown respect, commitment, academic excellence, continuous improvement and attendance. Great way to end the term!
