Paddling through Melbourne City - down the Yarra we go!

We had the best time soaking up the winter sun a couple of weeks ago, as we brushed up our paddling skills for our Term 4 expedition down the Murray! We learnt from our awesome Kayak Melbourne guides about the rich Wurundjeri history, visualised what the area looked like pre-colonisation, witnessed the impact of European settlement and urbanisation on this inland waterway, and discussed Parks Victoria management and incredible conservation initiatives such as makeshift wetlands & "Geoff" the epic litter trap!
