Please note: This is a guide as we are always unsure how long it will take for the last runner to finish the previous race.

In order for this event to run smoothly, we require assistance from parents/carers to help with standing on checkpoints so students know where to run and also on the finish line, handing out place cards and ribbons. If you are available for the morning and would like to assist, can you please email Laura Yorke at laura.yorke@education.vic.gov.au

A Compass event has been posted for parents/carers to consent to their child's participation.

Division Athletics

Congratulations to the 14 students who competed yesterday at the Division Athletics carnival in East Burwood. We were very lucky the rain held off for the event to go ahead. It was wonderful to see everyone's determination and effort in their qualifying events against many other strong competing schools.

We wish the following students all the best as they have progressed through to Region on Thursday 19th October:

Layla MDB - 1st 80m Hurldes

Chelsea MAH - 1st Shot Put

Xander MDT - 2nd Triple Jump & 4x100m Relay

Noah MDT - 2nd 4x100m Relay

Jed MDT - 2nd 4x100m Relay

Ollie MCL - 2nd 4x100m Relay

Isla SRT - 2nd 1500m

Ethan SEP - 1st 100m & Shot Put (MC)

Thank you to all parents and carers who took time off to attend the event.

A Great Time in Vacation Care

Students who attended our Vacation Care Program during the holidays had an amazing time, enjoying a range of excursions, incursions and fun on-site activities, including a day to meet new animal friends with "Animals on the Move" and a colourful Bollywood experience, with plenty of dress-ups and dancing for everyone.  An average of more than 60 children per day ensured a vibrant and successful fortnight, thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended, including the staff!

Planning for the January Vacation Care Program is already underway, with options and enrolment forms available in December.

From Sophie & Nicole in Sickbay......

We are now well and truly into 'Allergy Season', with its associated sneezing, runny noses and itchy eyes.  If your child suffers from allergies, please ensure they receive their required anti-histamine dose in the morning, before coming to school.  We do not hold generally-available anti-histamine in Sickbay, so are unable to offer relief unless previously arranged by parents/carers and medication provided.
