Welcome Back To Term 4

Welcome back to all families following the school holidays. I hope you managed to spend some quality family time together and enjoyed a break from packing school lunches! Thank you to all the families for the warm welcome back, the school was absolutely buzzing before and after school on Monday as Melbourne turned on Summer for the first day back!

After almost 12 months away on family leave I was so proud to walk back into Croydon Hills Primary on Monday morning and see such productive learning environments. The students were happy to be back and excited to see their friends and teachers. Similarly the staff were eager to see their students and have come back recharged and prepared for a big term of learning (and events)! 

This week I have loved spending time with students both in the classroom and out in the yard. I was amazed at the writing I saw in the Prep Classrooms, our Year 1 students have been studying the author Nick Bland and reading a range of his texts and our Senior students have started their writing projects where they will write a number of text types about a topic of their choice.
