VOCABULARY

Gratitude: Gratitude is the ability to appreciate what you have. It is the feeling of having and being enough.

 

Taking things for granted: Taking things for granted means that we forget the value of what we have. It is the opposite of gratitude and means we are unable to fully enjoy the things we have. 


ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Perhaps you can reflect on your life in the past when you had less. How has life changed and how has it improved from how it used to be? Your children can build gratitude through recognising that they have access to more things than was available in the past.
