Careers Day Out 2024

This year, Careers Day Out celebrated its 25th anniversary with a bang! Over 2,500 students from years 9 to 12 joined us on May 8th for Year 10 and May 9th for Year 11 VCE VM and VPC students. It was an exciting opportunity for everyone to learn about different jobs and industries.

At Careers Day Out, they attended workshops, watched demos, and listened to talks about different jobs. This year, we added something special called the Koorie Big Day Out Hub, where students could learn about culture and community.

The event was set up in different areas, each focusing on different types of jobs. This made it easy for students to explore careers they might be interested in. There were lots of exhibitors, like TAFE's, universities, and local businesses, showing off what they do and how students can get involved.

A big shoutout to all the staff who helped make Careers Day Out awesome. Without their hard work, none of this would have been possible.
