Three-Year-Olds

We have had a great week of learning and engagement in the program. With some of our classmates away travelling, our group times have been full of children’s thoughts and children’s voice as we discuss our experiences of travel by car and plane, of visiting other countries and of camping close to home.

Four-Year-Olds

In 4 Year Old Kinder the children have been focussing on social skills through the use of finger puppets. This has been an extension of the children’s interests from the previous learning cycle. We also explored the concept of kindness through the metaphor of “bucket filling”. This concept can help children understand the importance of positive interaction and emotional well-being. We will continue integrating this learning into our daily practices, promoting empathy and social development. We have also developed our Acknowledgement of Country together and sharing books from First Nations authors as well as playing along to ‘Inanay’ with rhythm sticks during group times.
