Specialist Feature News:

Selamat Siang,

Check out what's been happening in our Visual Arts sessions over the past few weeks!

Our Prep students have been delving into the world of landscapes, using both pre-cut shapes and their own cutouts to craft unique scenes!

In the 1/2 classes, creativity and humour have been the name of the game as we explore shape, line, and pattern through our "funky hair" portfolios. From zigzags to swirls, the students have been filling each section of their hair with imaginative designs.

Meanwhile, the 3/4 students have been showcasing their perseverance and love for learning as they tackle the challenge of designing paper mache pop art donuts. It's been a process of trial and error, but their dedication is truly paying off!

And for our 5/6 students, it's been all about creating pop art inspired by Indonesian food and drinks. This project is part of our cross-curricular display for Indonesian Day in Term 3, and the students have been bringing the vibrant colours and flavours of Indonesian cuisine to life on canvas.

Make sure to keep an eye on our Instagram for all the latest updates and snapshots of our artistic journey!

Science announcement: ATTN Carers!

In Term 3, we will be focusing on Chemistry, and would love community engagement from expert parents and carers! If you work in the STEM field or have experience with Chemistry, we would love the students to learn from you. If you're interested in this opportunity, please send me an email at beth.cardwell@education.vic.gov.au

Have a wonderful week everyone!
