Hello Foundation families and carers,
This week in Foundation, students started to use the Ollie Openers "First, Next and Then" in writing. We are using these to help sequence events in our writing and to put things in chronological order.
In Maths, we explored money. We sorted, counted and even made our own shops. Students set up their shops and sold goods to their peers. We had so much fun creating these shops and we were so impressed with their patience and teamwork. Make sure you check out Seesaw to see the amazing shops that were created!
As we get towards the end of our Guided Inquiry unit, we are finalising the different things we are putting in our time capsules. We would love for something to go into the time capsule that was made with both the students and their families. In Week 8, we will be sending home a frame for you to draw a picture of your family in with your child. You are welcome to decorate these frames, colour them in, and make them as special as possible for the students to add into their capsule.
