Today all students participated in National Simultaneous Storytime (NNS). Every year, students and teachers across Australia eagerly anticipate NSS, an event that unites schools, libraries, and communities in a collective celebration of the joy of reading.

This year the story chosen was Bowerbird Blue by Australian author Aura Parker. Bowerbird Blue is a charming children's story that follows the adventures of Blue, a young bowerbird with a passion for collecting blue objects to decorate his nest. Despite facing challenges and competition from other birds, Blue's creativity and determination help him create a beautiful bower that ultimately wins admiration and respect. 

The story highlights themes of individuality, perseverance, and the beauty of nature.
