Performing Arts News

There has been some amazing student participation in the Performing Arts’ space this term.

Foundation students have been performing as animals when acting out the story of ‘The Gingerbread Man’.

Students in Year 1/2 have been playing instruments along to the song ‘Zum Gali. Gali’.

Year 3/4 students have deomonstrated great enthusiasm with their dancing to ‘Uptown Funk’ and the popular ‘Medieval Warrior’. It is lucky that there are 4 walls to the Performing Arts’ Learning Space as we would have been sure to scare of the other classes with our loud battle cries.

Finally, Year 5/6 students have been working on changing the pitch of their voices and working with others performing the skit ‘Da Chicken Nugget Monster’. This is an original skit written by Dean, Louis, Drake and Ethan Q in Year 6. There has been lots of laughter and enjoyment from students we have all been laughing and enjoying ourselves whilst developing their confidence and public speaking skills.
