Biggest Morning Tea and Crazy Hair Day

Congratulations to our wonderful Athol Road Kinder and School Community for outstanding support and participation in our recent Biggest Morning Tea event.  Thanks to your generosity, we raised a remarkable sum of $1976 for the Cancer Council, contributing to vital research and support for those affected by cancer.

We raised $1373 through online donations and thanks to the efforts of Student Voice Council and their Crazy Hair Day idea, the students raised an extra $603 in gold coin donations. This impressive contribution demonstrates the creativity and dedication of our student leaders in supporting important causes.

From the delicious treats to the online and gold coin donations, it was evident that every contribution, big or small, made a meaningful impact. Together, we've demonstrated the power of community and the importance of coming together for a greater cause, reflecting the values we strive to instil in our students each day.

Your efforts support the fight against cancer, and we couldn't be prouder of our school community.  See all our photos on page 3 of this newsletter to highlight our success!

Parent Teacher Interviews/Student Led Conferences

Next week, all families will receive an important notice on Sentral about booking a time for Parent Teacher Interviews. It's crucial for all parents/carers to schedule a time with their child's designated teacher to discuss their Semester 1 learning and wellbeing progress.

This is an opportunity to review your child's mid-year report, celebrate achievements, and explore ways a positive school-parent partnership can further support your child's future learning.

Please note, Parent Teacher Interviews will be held in Week 2 of Term 3, however, all bookings must be finalised on Sentral by the end of this term. If you have any concerns or need support with booking in your Parent Teacher Interview time, please contact the office.
