The Feast of the Most Holy Trinity

This Sunday, 26th May, the Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity.

It is the day set aside to acknowledge wonderful being of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, the three parts of God. Explaining the trinity of God to children, and adults, can be a challenge. One way to view the trinity is to think of God as a triangle, it is one shape with three distinct points - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  A second way is to think of the trinity of God as an egg, there is one egg but it has three parts - the shell is the Father, the white is the Son and the yolk is the Holy Spirit.  A third way to think of the trinity of God is an apple, the skin is the Father, the flesh is the Son and the seed is the Holy Spirit.

May is the month for Mary

May is the month dedicated to Mary, our mother in Heaven. Find time individually or with family members to pray the Hail Mary in honour of Mary. She is always there for us to share in our good and not so good times.

Sacrament of Eucharist

Please keep the Year Four students who are receiving their First Holy Communion on the 1st and 2nd of June in your prayers.

The Eucharist Reflection Day for the Year Four and parish catechist children was a wonderful opportunity to gather and enrich their understanding of the Eucharist.
