Adobe Day

On Tuesday 4th June, Dr Tim Kitchen, Adobe Specialist, came to Brinbeal Secondary College to work with students and staff. All classes participated in a 50 minute session with Dr Kitchen. The focus for the students was Adobe Character Animator as a creative way to enhance presentations and Photoshop to help develop their digital literacy and communication skills.

After school, Dr Kitchen worked with staff and introduce them to Adobe Express which we are hoping will soon be back available for all Victorian Department of Education students. Adobe Express allows users to create posters, pamphlets, videos and much more.

Currently all students have access to the following Adobe Creative Cloud applications using their @schools login details:

• Adobe Premiere Rush to create video stories, pitches or self-reflection
• Audition to create podcasts or service announcements
• Adobe Character Animator to create animate 2D characters in real time
• Photoshop to edit, retouch and annotate images
• Illustrator for data visualisation such as infographics and diagrams
• InDesign to design reports, magazines, or flyers
• Premiere Pro to edit video with high-performance, industry-leading editing tools
• Acrobat Pro DC to create and collaborate on PDF documents

We encourage all students to explore the range of applications available to them.
