Year 7 Food Technology
For Food Technology in Year 7 this term, the students had their final assessment where they created their own hamburgers. Students first began with a design brief, which gave them the foundation of what needed to be done, this included using a range of nutrients from the five food groups.
They then completed a range of research and investigation questions, where they added four additional ingredients and one sauce to add onto their hamburger.
Once they choose their additional ingredients, they completed the production, we took photos, they then evaluated the hamburger and completed a menu poster of their completed assessment. Some of their work has been attached for you to see.
