National Reconciliation Week in OSHC
Our OSHC program is imbedded with opportunities for children to learn and participate in activities that acknowledge our unique histories and celebrate cultural diversity.
To commemorate National Reconciliation Week we shared a Dreaming Story together each day and then discussed their meaning and significance. These captivated children while expanding their knowledge of First Nations history and culture.
We also made lots of individual and group craft projects inspired by these Dreaming Stories. The children particularly enjoyed “The Rainbow Serpent” and “How the Birds Got Their Colours.”
