SRC and Year 6 'Triple S Day!' fundraiser
On Tuesday 4th June (Week 6), our school will be having our annual 'Triple S Day!'.
Sports Jerseys- All students in K-6 and teachers are to wear their favourite sport team jersey to school. We encourage all students to bring along a gold coin donation for our fundraiser.
Spider drinks- Year 6 will be selling Lemonade Spiders at lunch for $2. The money raised will go towards the Year 6 present to the school at the end of the year.
Soccer match- Students can enjoy their drink while they watch the anticipated soccer match of Year 6 vs teachers on our school oval at lunch time.
Students and staff are looking forward to a wonderful fundraising event.

National Reconciliation Week
Reconciliation Week is occurring this Term in Week 5. As we know, National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. I am very excited to let you know that this year, we will be celebrating and acknowledging this with an incursion. Muru Mittigar, are coming into our school to teach, connect and run their cultural education program for our children.
Muru Mittigar is a proud Dharug Aboriginal Social Enterprise in Western Sydney. They offer a school program which has been designed and developed to create a unique opportunity for local schools and their students to participate in an interactive and hands on experience with members of the local Aboriginal community.
The program seeks to create a better understanding of Aboriginal Culture in the wider community. The incursion will allow students to rotate through the following activities:
- Acknowledgement/ Welcoming to country
- Lesson on Dharug culture and history
- Bush Tucker talk
- Artefacts show and tell
- Art session
- Boomerang Throwing
