Prep Creative Play

This term our Prep class commenced a new Unit of Inquiry, 'How We Express Ourselves'.

We have discussed:

1. What is creativity?
2. Why do people create things?

Our Prep students discovered some very exciting points about creativity, some of which are:

• Creativity helps people to express their ideas and feelings, for example, through drawing, dancing and role play.
• Creativity helps people to connect to one another.

We also discussed ways that we can be creative. The pictures below show some of our creativity in play.

In this unit, we also looked at some famous artworks that expressed different feelings and emotions. We  chose two of our favourite paintings and shared why we chose them and how they make us feel.

Primary Assembly Roster - Term 2 (Repeat)

Assemblies are held weekly on a Tuesday afternoon at 2:30pm (for a 2:35pm start). Parents are welcome to attend.
