Mothers Day & Special Friends Events

Our annual St Mary's Mother's Day & Special Friends events have been a huge success this year. It was so much fun watching the kids get so excited at the gift stall, in choosing their fabulous gifts for their loved ones. We hope everyone appreciated your children's choices yesterday. We feel the children enjoy the act of giving, far more than they do in receiving presents, which is so humbling and heartwarming.

Our breakfast was also a great success with an amazing turnout of children, mums, dads, friends and even grandparents. The highlight for us all is always the beautiful song from the school choir, which always brings a few tears to our eyes.

Our wonderful grade 2 parents did an amazing job organising every event so perfectly, dedicating their precious time to plan and support the events.

This year, we sourced every single breakfast item and every raffle prize at zero cost. All the tasty goodies for adults and kids and over 20 amazing raffle prizes worth more than $2,000, were either donated by local businesses, baked by our own fair hands, or gifted by grade 2 families themselves.

Our community is so very generous and we cannot thank you all enough for your support and generosity.

Fundraising

The events raised $5,726 (before gift stall costs) which is a truly phenomenal effort from our small but beautiful community.

This effort sets a new Mothers Day fundraising standard so "Thank You" to each and every family who supported and contributed this year.
