Polding Hockey

Last week Darcy Wood represented Polding at the NSW PSSA Hockey Championships in Newcastle. Throughout the week Darcy played 5 high-quality games winning 4 and qualifying for the semi-finals against Hunter. On Friday morning Darcy's team beat Hunter 1-0 to qualify for the final later that afternoon. 

After a tiring week, Darcy had to get up and going for one final game against rivals MacKillop. After losing to Mackillop on Thursday morning 2-0, the boys dug deep and came out with an amazing 2-1 victory. 

To top off this amazing week, Darcy was selected in the NSW PSSA Hockey team to play at the Australian Championships in Cairns later this year. 

Well done Darcy, this is a huge achievement. We are all so proud of you.
