Year 7 Japanese Students Enjoy Traditional Japanese Breakfast
As part of their cultural studies, the second group of Year 7 Japanese students recently experienced a traditional Japanese breakfast. The menu featured freshly cooked rice, miso soup, Japanese-style omelette, natto (fermented soybeans), umeboshi (pickled plums), and nori (seaweed). While some students developed a surprising taste for natto, many eagerly returned for seconds of rice and seaweed. This hands-on experience will soon be incorporated into their lessons, where students will learn to express their food preferences in Japanese.
