Calmsley  Hill Farm Excursion

Last Wednesday, Kindergarten went on an excursion to Calmsley Hill Farm.

We were so excited to hop on the bus and go! We needed to meet our teachers early because the farm is a long drive from school.

When we first arrived, we saw lots of native birds but our favourite birds to watch were the chickens and roosters. We walked through a herb garden and smelt lots of interesting leaves.

We then saw some working dogs, but it was too hot for them to be chasing sheep. We got to pat a horse, milk a cow and go on a tractor ride. The tractor ride was very bumpy and fast.

Our favourite part was seeing the barn animals. We got to pat sheep, lambs, goats, kids, chickens and even a baby bunny.

Calmsley Hill Farm was the best excursion ever!
