From the Principal's Desk
Welcome back to the final term of 2024. Now that is a scary statement!
As always this promises to be a busy term.
It was quite a hectic beginning to the term with the famous Deb Ball being celebrated over the weekend. This was a fantastic event and it continues to amaze me just how much creativity we have within our staff, parent body and extended members of the community. The event is successful because a large number of people contribute in small ways, but truthfully there is a small group of people who donate a significant amount of their own (and their families) time to making this such a memorable event. These people have taken on the often thankless task of organising this ball and have raised an astounding sum of money for the school which is utilised in many different ways, benefiting all children. I know the entire school community joins me in thanking them from the bottom of our hearts.
As this is towards the start of the term, I thought I would take the opportunity to remind people about how to access our public school calendar.
It can be found on our website: All Saints Primary School Website. This calendar will have important events for you to add to your calendars and will be updated regularly. If important dates change you will be notified via Compass.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish our Confirmation Candidates all the best on the making of their Confirmation in a weeks time. This is always a lovely celebration which we combine with our All Saints’ Day festivities. Saints were able to perform a multitude of good works due to being filled with the Holy Spirit. We also pray for our students that they may be filled with the Holy Spirit and further equipped to follow Jesus more closely.
Please join us in this celebration on the 3rd of November at All Saints Church and Parish Hall.
God Bless
