Dear Families,

Term 4 Inquiry Units – Environment & Sustainability

This term, students are exploring Environment & Sustainability with great enthusiasm!

A highlight has been the Butterfly Adventures Chrysalis Kits, where all classes hatched their own butterflies and released them into the wild. This hands-on experience brought the life cycle to life in a truly special way, sparking wonder and excitement among the students.

Foundation to Year 3 Inquiry: Minibeasts

Students are exploring the fascinating world of minibeasts, discovering their life cycles, habitats, features, and needs. Through engaging hands-on investigations, students are learning:

                 What do minibeasts look like?

Where do they live, and why?

How do they change over time?

This inquiry is helping students understand the important roles that minibeasts play in our ecosystems.

Years 4–6 Inquiry: Marine and Animal Environments

Students are investigating the survival and adaptations of marine life and other animal habitats. Through research and exploration, they are uncovering the vital role of waterways and ecosystems, while also learning how we can take action to protect these environments for future generations.

These engaging inquiries are helping our students develop a deeper appreciation for nature and the important role they can play in preserving our environment.

Enjoy the weekend!
